We grew with these imaginary characters and the exercise of the self-portrait allows the photographer to come back to childhood become a hero.
Today, the dream remains intact, even if the age allowed to bring a little of mockery in the look of the photographer.
This series of self-portraits is also the culmination of a vain search to find in the portrait some character trait of the photographed subject, perhaps a little in the tradition of Cindy Sherman.
